The National Council of IMMs in Romania (CNIPMMR) organized on Wednesday, 2nd of November, at the Romanian Athenaeum, the 30th edition of the "National Top of Private Companies from Romania", one of the most important events that recognize the merits of entrepreneurs from Romania and the performances achieved.This year the Council analyzed 596.221 companies, with more than 5.000 general national rankings (micro, small, medium, large and for newly established companies); national - by fields of activity - CAEN code (micro, small, medium, large and for newly established) and general regional (micro, small, medium, large and for newly established), according to gross profit (PB), turnover (CA), productivity and global performance in business.
WABAG Water Services SRL was nominated for (CAEN Code 7112 - Engineering Activities and Related Technical Consultancy):
*1st Place in the National ranking according to global performance in the category of medium companies;
*1st Place in the National ranking by productivity in the category of medium companies;
*1st Place in the National ranking by gross profit in the category of medium companies;
* 2nd Place in the National ranking by turnover in the category of medium companies;
* 9th Place in the General national ranking by gross profit in the category of medium companies.
During the award ceremony, Mr. Paul ADAM, Business Developer, represented the company and collect the trophies.
The event represented also a good opportunity to interact with the local business environment, more than 700 private companies participated at the gala.

Complete water solutions for:
Water is the most critical element in Oil & Gas Exploration and Production. The main challenge of water treatment in the upstream sector is to reduce its environmental footprint and develop efficient water treatment solutions for reuse or discharge. Whether it is for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) or chemical EOR, for reuse or discharge, water availability and purity is crucial. The water treatment process has to meet requirements related to the specific characteristics of the site as well as those related to local environmental legislation. For EOR or Injection purposes, water treatment processes differ depending on the external water resource available and on the water quality required by the site e.g., solids, sulfate and salinity. Moreover, the treated water must not cause corrosion or decreased of oil production.
Faced with increasing environmental legislation coupled with increasing pressure to reduce operational costs while cutting back on investments, the refining and petrochemical industry needs to optimize and diversify water resources. Cooling water and utility water are most often pre-treated water from external water sources (seawater, river water, lake or potable water) but can also be produced by reuse or recycled treated wastewater. The required water quality depends on the specific use within the site. Various forms of utility water may be needed including: process water, boiler feed water, potable water, firefighting water, tank cleaning water.
WABAG is a global player in the optimum and comprehensive management of the industrial water cycle. From sourcing to discharge, WABAG can meet all industrial criteria, thanks to its large portfolio of technological solutions and innovative services that combine both economic and environmental performance.
Complete water solutions:
Each refinery or petrochemical complex has a specific wastewater composition based on the production capacity and the products. Today we can say that wastewater is the unique fingerprint of each site. In areas where water is scarce , clients may choose (partial) recycling of treated wastewater or even go all the way to Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plants in order to minimize the cooling of utility water intake from natural resources. Reusing & recycling also helps with regulatory compliance, protects environment and optimizes the water balance.
All water and wastewater treatment plants generate large quantities of chemical and biological sludge that have to be managed. In many locations sludge handling represents up to 30 or 40% of the plant’s operational costs. Once treated, oil can be recovered and sludge can become a product and be used for energy recovery systems.
We understand the demands for the Food & Beverage Industry and help our clients by providing innovative solutions for every type of souce of water.
We have the right solution for:
Wastewater treatment in petroleum refineries is challenging and a complex process. Petrochemical wastewater requires a combination of treatment methods to remove oil and other contaminants before discharge.
In order to comply with different environmental regulations we have solutions for:
Our know-how and technologies cover the entire water and wastewater cycle and we comply with the most demanding standards of reliability, safety and quality.
